The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale Central, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini says the minority will not hesitate to walk out from the august house if the newly elected MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Lydia Seyram Alhassan attempts to address the house.
“We will never recognise her in any way in the house and when she attempts to address the house, we will walk out,” this he said, is a collective decision by the minority.
Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini noted that “until the right thing is done, we will never recognize this woman in parliament.”
And so YEN.com.gh asked readers via Facebook what they made of the intention by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MPs and culled out some submissions that were most representing of the general view.
Martin Amidu Junior wrote that "NDC party walking out of the Parliament is a Blessing for Ghana". It would seem the Facebook user is not a fan of the opposition.
Another user, Onell Djibri Emmanuelson wrote that they will "be glad when you people decide not to step there again...because I don't see any important things from the you minority".
Another Facebook user dared the opposition MPs to walk out and see if they were ever going to be paid any allowances ever again.
And lastly, Chris Orlando summarised the general overview with a Hallelujah chorus adding: "NDC walking out of Ghana Parliament is the best thing that ever happened to Ghana".
It would seem that the general view of the many who commented was not very favourable to the the NDC.
