Zylofon TV and FM which are owned by embattled Menzgold CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1), have resumed full operations.
The two media firms went off air after the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) ordered the seizure of NAM1’s properties.
Due to that, the management of Zylofon TV and FM issued a press statement on January 29, 2019 suspending operations.
However, after two weeks, Zylofon TV is live again while the radio wing will be starting operations soon.
The management of Zylofon TV and FM took to Instagram to announce their return.
With the return of the two firms, it is unknown whether EOCO has given them the leeway to start operating.
Meanwhile, Menzgold boss, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1), will appear in court for the third time in Dubai on Thursday, February 14, where he is facing a misdemeanor charge over a US$23 million deal which went bad.
The CEO of the embattled gold trading firm is reportedly being held on remand at the Al Barsha police cell as he goes through trial over the charge.
According to reports, the criminal charge of misdemeanor in Dubai is equivalent to a second degree felony in Ghana and if found guilty he could spend up to two years in prison.
