Winner of popular talent show, MTN Htmaker season 7, Okailey Verse, popular known as OV, has revealed that she had wanted to be lawyer when she was a child.
The musician, who is signed onto Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group, said her parents’ rejected her thoughts of pursuing law due to the misconception that lawyers are buried face-down when they die.
Adomonline.com quoted her as saying: “I wanted to read law after Senior High School (SHS) but my parents said when I die, they will bury me face down. They wanted me to join the military because I had the vibe."
The 20-year-old musician who was recently interviewed by YEN.com.gh, said she hoped to be taken seriously as a musician and not be defined by her looks.
Recently, OV's long-awaited video to Want Me, her first single under the Burnington label, came out. Fans on the YouTube comment section are already calling it a banger.
Meanwhile, singer Becca has sent a lovely message to her Nigerian husband, Daniel Oluwatobi Sanni for Valentine's.
Sharing photos of herself with Tobi Sanni, the singer indicated that her husband was her dream man and she realised it the very moment she set eyes on him.
In the lengthy post on Instagram, Becca promised her undying love and support for Tobi until her last breath. The singer also thanked her husband for giving her "a beautiful mini Becca".
