Akufo-Addo is determined to win the 2020 elections - MP

- The MP for Gomoa Central, Naana Eyiah Quansah, has disclosed that President Akufo-Addo, is determined to win the 2020 elections

- She explained that Ghanaians need to give him the opportunity to complete important projects

- Quansah added that the government intends to create jobs and wealth for unemployed graduates

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Gomoa Central, Naana Eyiah Quansah, has claimed that President Akufo-Addo is poised to win the 2020 elections.

For that reason, she went on, there is the need for the populace to support him to complete all unfinished projects by the time the elections come up.

According to a report by Ghananewsagency.com, she explained that the Akufo-Addo-led government has been able to reverse the economic mess bequeathed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which brought untold economic pains to Ghanaians.

She added that all stakeholders need to come on board to contribute their quota, so that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) continues with its work.

She went on to say that, President Akufo-Addo and his economic management team, led by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, are working tirelessly to create jobs and wealth for the unemployed graduates, in order to reduce their economic hardships

Quansah passed these comments during an address to the media, supporters and football teams at a zonal football tournament organized in her honour by eight zones in the Gomoa Central Constituency at Gomoa Mangoase.

She appealed to the Youth and Sports Ministry not to concentrate on the selection of footballers from regional capitals alone but also spread its tentacles to rural areas to include more talented youths.

The participating zones were Gomoa Lome, Gomoa Afransi, Ekwamkrom, Pomadze/Aseibu, Aboso-Ekroful, Brofoyedur, Osamkrom, Mangoase, Abonyi/Abaasa and Benso/Akropong.
