Lil Win buys 1000 bags for pupils in his Great Minds International School (video)

Popular Kumawood actor and musician Lil Win has purchased one thousand school bags to be distributed to pupils of his Great Minds International School.

Lil Win took to social media to announce the purchase of the school bags by sharing a video of the bags.

In the video posted on his Instagram page, the green and yellow school bags could be seen with the logo of the school embossed on them.

The bags, understands, contain codes to ensure that, the students will be easily identified should anyone get missing or missed up with others.

Lil Win's video was shared to announce that admissions were still in progress.

"1000 sets of Branded Bags ... Impacting the Generation. Great Minds International School (GMIS). Admission in Progress Call 0508111115," the video was captioned.

Completed in the latter part of 2018, Great Minds International School was opened on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. The school is located at Offinso Ahenkro in the Ashanti Region.

In an interview with GNA, Lil Win revealed that he put up the school as part of his efforts to help the less privileged.

"I put up this school to support the less privileged in the society and I want to be remembered for this initiative," he is reported to have said.

Just about a month after opening the school, Lil Win was honoured as the Most Promising Proprietor of The Year at the maiden edition of the National Private School Awards.

The Kumasi-based actor received the prestigious award for his outstanding service for the country.

Recently, Lil Win revealed that his school charges as low as GHC 50 for entrants who start at creche and kindergarten and GHC 100 for the primary level.
