Fire Outbreak at the new Makola Shopping Mall

The Makola Shopping mall located within the Central Business District of Accra has been razed down by fire.

The disaster occurred in the early hours of Friday, February 22, 2019.

The cause of the inferno is not unknown yet according to a Class FM report.

An eyewitness, Musa Issaka, told Class FM that the fire destroyed several properties worth thousands of cedis.

The Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service Elis Robbinson confirmed the incident to Joy News.

Fire officers appeared on the scene to quench the fire.
