Ghanaians on social media have reacted to President Akufo-Addo’s assessment of the nation during his recent address.
The president on Thursday, February 21, 2019 delivered his third State of Nation Address to Ghanaians in Parliament.
He touched on a couple of issues, including the country’s security, energy, productivity and the way forward to solve Ghana’s economic challenges.
The president also spoke on the brewing Menzgold saga, political vigilantism, as well as announcing that the Jubilee House will from August 2019 be powered by solar energy.
He also noted that “the NPP government is good for Ghana”, as his party MPs responded with a loud “yeah, yeah”.
While the 2019 SONA may be over, the discussion on the president’s address has extended to the various social media platforms.
YEN.com.gh, therefore, put up a post to solicit views from Ghanaians on whether they agree that the NPP government is the best for Ghana, as the president said, or not?
One guy said: “You buy a car for 45,000 cedis and pay 48,000 cedis duty and you tell me your government is good for Ghana. For the first time in history, Diesel is more expensive than Petrol and you tell me NPP is good for Ghana.
