President Akufo-Addo has named the ministers and their deputies for Ghana’s newest regions.
Per a release from director of communications at the presidency, Eugene Arhin, dated Thursday, February 28, 2019, they would be presented to Parliament to be sworn in.
YEN.com.gh understands that current ministers and deputies of some regions have also been changed in the latest release.
Some Ghanaians are however not too excited about the announcement and have expressed their reservations about the list:
Bempong wished to confirm if the new list therefore shot up the list to 124.
To Nana Yaw, the list is wasteful, reckless, infantile and an abuse of resources.
Adu sarcastically congratulated them for a lean government.
Euche also expressed concern about the number of ministers.
To Nartey, the list merely represents an increase in the number of busybodies with little to show for the efforts.
To Menzs, Ghanaians have a cause to cry, as its leaders are selfish and greedy.
Otabil however argued for an independent manager for the cedi, as the exchange rate was not the best.
