One of the suspects in the Takoradi kidnapping case had to run for cover after he was nearly lynched outside a courtroom.
Nigerian national Samuel Udoetuk Wills was in court on Monday, March 4, 2019 but drew the ire of parents and sympathisers of the missing girls after proceedings.
The suspect is alleged to be responsible for the disappearance of three girls from Sekondi/Takoradi and its environs.
He was, however, given a hot chase outside the Takoradi Magistrate Court on Monday, March 4, 2019 as he sought cover from the police.
The police were, however, able to protect him from the mob, and whisked him away in a waiting vehicle.
Ghanaians have been alarmed in recent months following reports of numerous kidnapping cases around the country.

All three are yet to be found, although the prime suspect, identified as a Nigerian national Samuel Wilson Udoetuk, has been apprehended by the police.
Meanwhile, the suspect is expected to reappear in court on April 4, 2019.
