4 Ghanaian celebs who were born on Ghana's Independence Day
Birthday celebrations are always special but the excitement is even more if it falls on the same day of Ghana's Independence Day.
It is always great to celebrate your birthday on your country’s Independence Day.
As Ghana celebrates her 62 years since independence on March 6, so are some Ghanaian celebrities celebrating their birthdays.

YEN.com.gh has put together four celebrities who are celebrating their birthday on Ghana’s Independence Day
1. Lordina Mahama
She was born Lordina Effah on March 6, 1963. She is married to the fourth president of the Fourth Republic and current out-gone president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama.
2. Kevin-Prince Boateng
Boateng is born to a Ghanaian father and German mother. He was born on March 6, 1987.
In 2010 he opted to play for Ghana prior to the FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
He currently plies his trade in the Spanish top-flight for Barcelona on loan from Sassuolo.
3. Kwame A-Plus
Kwame Asare Obeng (A-Plus) is a hiplife artiste who seems to take great interest in rapping about politics and social issues.
He was also born on Ghana’s Independence Day, March 6.
He released an album, Freedom of Speech right before the 2000 elections in Ghana.
The hit track, "Mesuro mpo na merekeka yi o" talked about how he was afraid of what he was saying and doing but he was still saying it, in the light of democracy as he lambasted politicians.

4. Kwaku Manu
The Kumawood star was born March 6, 1984, and he is one of the most sought after actors in the country.
He starred in many movies and he has claimed many awards.
