Ghanaians alarmed by NPP vigilante group training at the Osu Castle

Many Ghanaians have expressed outrage over the pro-NPP vigilante group, De Eye’s activities at the Osu Castle.

A Joy News documentary which aired on Thursday, March 7, 2019 revealed the militia group associated with the governing NPP is being trained at an important state facility classified as a security zone.

The documentary also revealed that a personal former bodyguard of President Akufo-Addo is the one who leads the pro-government militia group.

The irony of the situation is that, President Akufo-Addo, during his third State of the Nation Address to parliament, assured the nation his government will ensure peace and security.

He also charged his party, NPP and the opposition NDC to meet to find solutions and disband all activities of party vigilantism.
