Ghanaian actress, Moesha Boduong has donated items to the less-privileged in her hometown in commemoration of her birthday.
In exclusive photos revealed to YEN.com.gh, the actress was captured donating school items to some students in the Upper West region.
Moesha revealed that she decided to make her birthday special by going back to her roots and give back to the less-privileged.
"For my birthday this year, I decided to go back to my root, my home town and gave something they have always," she wrote on Instagram.
"Well there are two things I'll forever be proud of and continually boast about, that is; who I am and where I come from," excerpts of the post read.
She recalled how she grew up in Sissala and was taught by her parents how to be hardworking and respectful.
Moesha took to her Instagram page to praise herself and her tribe for being people who need to be celebrated.
Moesha also expressed her joy as how she has fulfilled her childhood dream of returning back to her home and give back.
Instagram users on watching the video and pictures of the donation heaped praise on Moesha for her kind gesture.
Moesha Babiinoti Boduong is an actress and socialite who finds herself in controversies and has been on the receiving end of backlash from Ghanaians.
Recently, she was reported to receive trolls from social media users after she danced in a club on the night of her birthday.
According to those who trolled her, they claimed that Moesha's big 'tundra' did not shake while she twerked.
