Wontumi dares Anas to prove he is truly an investigative journalist by finding Suale’s killers

The Ashanti regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, has charged investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, to find the killers of the late Ahmed Hussein-Suale.

According to Mynewsgh.com, this, he said, would prove that Anas in indeed an investigative journalist who is good at his job.

Suale, who played a key role in Number 12, an investigative documentary, was killed on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Madina, a suburb of Accra.

As investigations continue, Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, has charged Anas to focus on Suale’s killers, instead of illegal mining.

His comments come after a video, in which some Ghanaians were seen engaged in illegal mining, was released by Tiger Eye PI.

The then secretary of the Inter Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM), Charles Bissue, resigned after being captured in the video.
