YEN.com.gh has come across a video circulating on social media involving a man and his wife pounding fufu with 'tapoli.'
In a video that was posted on the Instagram page of Rumors and Gossips GH, the man and his wife were captured pounding fufu with 'tapoli.'
The video has attracted a lot of comments because this is probably the first time someone has tried using 'tapoli' to pound fufu.
In Ghana, the normal way of pounding fufu is to use a pestle so for this man and his wife to use tapoli in place of pestle amazed a lot of Ghanaians.
In the video, the man was seen using the 'tapoli' which is actually used for grinding to pound the fufu.
While the man pounded, the wife turned the fufu as if it was being pounded with a pestle.
The person who captured the video asked the man why he had decided to pound fufu with 'tapoli' instead of pestle.
The man replied with an advice which meant that he does not have a pestle but still needs to eat fufu, a reason he was using the 'tapoli'.
"In this world, there is something a lot of people do not understand. When it gets to a certain stage in life, you have to accept whatever God gives you," he said.
He added that people should appreciate whatever God gives them no matter how small and desist from complaining as well.
The man further advised that since everyone cannot have the same wealth or live good in the world, those who don't have should be content with what they have.
"It is not what some people have that everyone will have so people should appreciate whatever they have and make good use of it" he said.
The strength invested in pounding fufu with 'tapoli' is something that marveled a lot of social media users who watched the video.
While others found the video hilarious, others praised the man for harnessing such strength to pound fufu with 'tapoli.'
