Popular Ghanaian rapper, M.anifest, known in real life as Kwame Ametepe Tsikata has reacted to the death of his grandfather, Emeritus Professor Joseph Hanson Kwabena Nketia.
M.anifest took to Instagram to mourn and remember his grandfather by posting a video of himself and his grandfather when he was alive.
In the video, Professor Nketia during a documentary session with his grandson, read a rap he wrote in a book.
Prof. Nketia revealed that he wrote the rap as a twi version of a song while he was a student in London.
In captioning the video, Manifest wrote "Overwhelming legacy. A life well lived. Grandpa, thank you. Your humanity was your greatest composition."
The video and caption revealed that Manifest has a lot of admiration, love and respect for his grandfather.
Research done by YEN.com.gh reveals that until his demise, M.anifest lived with Prof. Nketia who is his maternal grandfather in Madina.

M.anifest once admitted that his grandfather has contributed to some of the good songs he has composed.
In the early hours of Wednesday, March 13, 2019, renowned Ghanaian musicologist and composer, Prof. J.H Nketia passed on at the Legon Hospital.
Prof. Nketia who was awarded the title of Emeritus at a point in time, passed away peacefully at age 97.
Before his demise, he served as a lecturer for several years at the Department of Music, University of Ghana.
Indeed the passing on of Prof. Nketia is peaceful but a great loss to M.anifest and Ghanaians as a whole even though he was old.
