Law students refuse to partake in special classes

Some students of the Ghana School of Law (GSL) have refused to partake in special classes organized for students who failed the final exams.

Per a report by Pulse.com.gh, the students served notice that they cannot be part of the classes because they know the reason behind their poor performances.

According to them, they are convinced the management of the GSL are responsible for the mass failure of students.

They also stressed that there is enough to prove that teaching and learning had no role to play in the unexpected results.

Out of 525 students who sat for the Law exams, only 64 passed in all the papers. 284 of them were asked to repeat and rewrite all the 10 courses of programmes they registered.

They however disclosed that copies of their petition, which contains their grievances, are before the GLC, Parliament, the council of state and the president.
