Liverpool have gone back to the top of the Premier League standings on Sunday, March 17, after beating Fulham 2-1 in what was a tough game for the Reds at the Craven Cottage.
Jurgen Klopp's men went into this game knowing that a win will make them go top and ahead of rivals Manchester City and they did themselves lot of good.
Fulham had the first chance to score in the 6th minute when Michael Seri set up Floyd Ayite, but his shot was well saved by goalkeeper Alisson.
Senegal international Sadio Mane gave Liverpool the lead in the 26th minute after receiving a superb assist from Roberto Firmino.
The first half ended with Liverpool taking a 1-0 lead into the dressing room at the Craven Cottage.
Fulham came back into the game in the 74th minute when Ryan Babel restored parity to the delight of the home fans.
Liverpool fought back in the last ten minutes of the game as goalkeeper Sergio Rico brought down Sadio Mane in which the referee gave the Reds a penalty.
James Milner then stepped forward to score the penalty in the 81st minute which gave Liverpool the maximum three points
