YEN.com.gh has sighted on Facebook, courtesy of Etiketa, a collection of sculpted works made out of car tyres by a Nigerian creative artist whose name is currently unknown.
The artiste collects tyres that seem to have worn out and puts them to use making fantastic sculpture.
Some of the items made by the artist include sculptures of horses, crocodiles and rabbits. He also has a recreation of the famous Charging Bull in New York.
The artist's work is enjoying a lot of social media attention with the bulk of it bordering on showers of praise.
One thing worthy of note is that artist burns his tyres in order to mould them into the desired shapes. This obviously raises questions of pollution and dangers to his health.
The matter of pollution also challenges the idea of sustainability that the artist might have in mind.

The pieces of work look great and would obviously enjoy a lot of patronage in a place like Ghana.
The artist's accomplishments should also serve as inspiration for others looking to go into an environmentally-sustainable creative business.
