NPP big man demolishes property of another man illegally - A Plus alleges

Comedian Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, has claimed that a leading member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has unjustifiably demolished a young man’s building at Prampram.

In a Facebook post, the controversial musician said the NPP big man, who he refused to name, stormed the site with his men to demolish the building without a court order.

He explained that the Chief of the area called him to report the matter, saying they have not sold any land to the NPP man.

Without a court order or a title to the land, one NPP so called big man took the law into his own hands and together with his "vigilante" group demolished a young man's building at Prampram,” A Plus wrote.

“Last Thursday, March 14, 2019 the chief of the area and all his elders met with me at Accra Mall and informed me that they have not sold the piece of land to this NPP man. So why do you demolish someone's sweat just like that?”

A Plus further stated that his own checks at the Land Commission proved the said NPP man did not own the land.

He wondered why anyone would abuse power by bringing down a building that a young man has toiled to build.
