Form One boy kills mother's 65-year-old lover in Kericho after finding them making love

Residents of Liten in Kericho county are in shock after a 16-year-old boy stabbed a 65-year-old man to death on the night of Monday, March 18.
The Form One student at Kiburus Secondary school is reported to have been angered after he found the old man having sex with his mother who is a widow.

According to a neighbour, Mercy Mutai who heard the trio quarreling, the boy stabbed the man on the chest and he died while dressing up to leave the house, Citizen TV reported.
"I heard the boy, the man, and the woman quarreling and the woman screamed, when I arrived I found the man putting on his shirt but he immediately fell down and died," said one of the neighbours
She added the boy is known to be very silent and has never portrayed any signs of being violent.

Mutai also noted the boy reached for a kitchen knife after asking the man what he was doing in their house yet he was not his father.
"The old man had a stab mark on his chest and that was when I screamed alerting the other neighbours who came and called the area chief," she added.

Further reports indicated it was the first time the man had visited the middle-aged woman at her home when the boy found them in bed together.
Police launched a search for the 16-year-old boy who went into hiding after committing the heinous act.
