NDC expresses readiness to work with NPP to end vigilantism
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has indicated that it is ready to discuss a possible end to vigilantism with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to a report by Citinewsroom.com, NDC’s national organizer, Joshua Akamba, stated that the party is ready to cooperate with the NPP if the ruling party is ready to disband its groups.
This comes after the letters were exchanged between the NDC and the presidency, with regard to an attempt to deal with vigilantism.

One of the points of contentions over a possible meeting between the two parties was the request of a presence of a third-party mediator, which the president described as disappointing.
The NPP is however open to a third party and said it would decide with the NDC on which stakeholders to invite to the dialogue.
