Adjetey Anang recounts how 7 years of childlessness made his marriage difficult

Popular actor Adjetey Anang, commonly called Pusher, has revealed that the most difficult part of his 12-year-old marriage was when they had to wait for many years for a child.

According to him, there were many challenges, however, having to wait for seven years for their first child brought them untold pain and struggle.

This is mainly because society frowned upon them, while they themselves were anxious.

All this while, work, family, and other societal factors, were having a toll on their marriage.

“…But the most difficult thing we've dealt with was being unable to have a baby when we wanted to... we waited & waited till the 7th year! Societies expectations weighed us down & being known made it even harder for me,” he wrote.

Anang made this revelation on his Instagram page in the lesson 2 of his 12-year lessons learnt in his marriage which he has been sharing with his fans and followers on social media.

The problems, he said became even insurmountable when his wife finally got pregnant, adding that one of the challenges nearly ended their marriage.

According to him, they experienced their biggest fight during her pregnancy period.

Though he did not say in details what really caused this fight, Anang disclosed that it really shook the foundation of their marriage.

Despite all these, they decided to stick to each other and stay together to make their marriage work.

Today, the couple are celebrating an enviable 12 years in marriage, and are blessed with a child.

Meanwhile, in an earlier report by, Pusher revealed that washing of dishes in his home was his topmost priority.

He explained that that was a way he could help the home grow neatly, stressing that washing of dishes and other domestic chores are not restricted to wives only.
