4th wife Akua GMB talks about polygamy with guests on Purple room TV show

Former beauty queen and host of Purple Room on Angel TV, Akua GMB, has spoken on issues of polygamy and its effects on society.

Akua, known in private like as Sally Amankowaa, is one of the many wives of Ghana’s rich businessman, Dr. Kweku Oteng of Angel Group of Companies, popularly known for producing Adonko Bitters.

In an episode of her Purple Room TV show monitored by YEN.com.gh on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, Akua hosted two pastors to discuss the subject of polygyny or polygamy.

One of the pastors, Prophet Mesheck Abor, who has two wives, was of the view that God and the bible allow polygamy.

He backed his point with scriptures from the bible and interpreted them according to his own understanding that there was no problem with polygamy.

This is no surprise as Abor, as the self-proclaiming prophet is married to two wives.

On the other hand, the other pastor on the show vehemently rejected Abor’s view and stated that God made only one woman for Adam, indicating that polygamy is not allowed.

He explained that if God was pleased with polygamous marriage, he would have made more than just one wife, Eve, for Adam.

The pastor also backed his views with scriptures from the bible, and added that even animals were created in the form of one male, one female.

The argument went on and on between the two pastors, and the fact that they all used scriptures made it a confusing one for viewers of the show.

No wonder Akua GMB herself was confused and advised her viewers to weigh all the points given and decide for themselves whether polygamy is good for them or not.

She stated that there was usually lack of peace in polygamous marriages.

“Viewers, we have all heard from both pastors backing their claims with bible quotations. People have differing opinions. But make sure you take the view that works best for you and enjoy,” Akua advised.

Meanwhile, though she has failed to confirm or deny it, Akua is reported to be the 4th wife of Dr. Oteng, and she happens to be the youngest wife.

People have often criticised her for claims that she married a man old enough to be her father because of money,

But Akua has refuted those claims, and stressed that she agreed to marry Dr. Oteng out of love and his humility.

She is the general manager of Angel TV, where she hosts her show.

In a more recent news, the beautiful woman is reportedly pregnant with her third child with the millionaire.
