Musician Shatta Wale has take to social media to confess his love and support for beleaguered business mogul Nana Appiah Mensah in these times of the businessman's infamy for allegedly swindling people out of their investments.
As reported on March 22, 2019 by Celebritiesbuzz.com.gh, Shatta Wale posted on what seemed to be Snapchat, what he felt of the troubles of the man who just two years ago, invested massively into his (Shatta's) career.
Before now, the musician had not said much about Nana Appiah Mensah except to call for calm and pray for an amicable solution.
But when he took to Snapchat to comment, he wrote: “No matter what I love you and will pray everything settles well…Love is the thing I can show you now in these hard times…Love you bro!!!”
Mensah, popularly known as NAM 1, is accused of misleading investors into buying into the business model of Menzgold, a now-defunct gold investment company.
Menzgold signed on thousands on investors with the promise of giving them between 7% to 12% on their capital investments every month.
But even before government would close down the company for illegal operations, Menzgold had failed to pay its customers their monthly allowances for about 3 months in the middle of 2018.
In 2017, NAM 1's entertainment and media company, Zylofon Media, signed on Shatta Wale as one of their many recording artistes. The list also included Joyce Blessing, Stonebwoy and Kumi Guitar.
These days, after the fall of Menzgold, the artistes seem like they are patiently waiting out the remainder of their contracts with Zylofon.
