Ghanaian rapper Tic Tac who is now known as Tic has expressed his disappointment in Charterhouse for not nominating for the Artist of the Year category for the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA's).
According to Tic, he should have received more nominations for the various categories of the VGMA.
Speaking in an interview, Tic lamented at what he claimed was a snub by the selection team at Charterhouse.
Tic noted that he should have been nominated for various categories especially the Artist of the Year category.
“I should have been nominated for Artiste of the Year, Highlife song of the Year and Hiplife song of the Year and of course maybe best collaboration of the Year,” he said.
“Because if you are nominated for most popular song of the Year and the song is a Hiplife song or a Highlife song and it couldn’t make it in its own category then it baffles me as an artiste but it’s VGMAs," he added.
It seems Tic wants more than he has been given since the rapper was nominated for popular song of the year.
Tic's remix of Kwani Kwani which featured Kuami Eugene was nominated in the popular song of the year category.

But according to Tic, that category should not have been the only category where he deserved a nomination.
This is not the first time an artiste is slamming Charterhouse and the VGMA selection team for snubbing them.
Recently, reggae artiste Ras Kuuku lamented about how he did not get a nomination in the reggae dancehall artiste of the year category.
In an exclusive interview with YEN.com.gh, Ras Kuuku's manager, popularly known as Da Biggest Boss revealed that they were informed about Ras Kuuku's nomination by a lady from Charterhouse but later snubbed them.
