Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo has advised young girls against sleeping with old men for iPhones.
According to her, a phone is just a tool and that no girl should ever offer her body in exchange for.
Mrs. Akuffo was speaking at the Chief Justice's Mentoring Programme held in Kumasi on Tuesday, March 26, 2019.

The programme aims to expose pupils to the functions of the judiciary and instill in them virtues of patriotism and selflessness.
"Girls, don't give yourself to some dirty old man for an iPhone or for any type of phone. It is a tool, that's all, one day you'll own [one]. You'll be able to buy one if you are patient and you do not throw away your virtue," the Chief Justice said.
She said time spent on the phone must be used for important things, rather than just trivial issues.
She urged young girls to make better use of the internet by learning to improve their lives in whatever field they find themselves.
The Chief Justice admonished young people to prioritise honesty, respect, hard work, self-discipline, integrity and service.

The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II also had a speech read on his behalf at the Chief Justice's Mentoring Programme .
The Asantehene praised the Chief Justice for improving the judiciary sector, adding that the mentoring programme is in the right direction.
