Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan, is yet to pay a visit to his wife and children after a DNA test proved that he is the biological father of his three children.

According to report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Ghanaweb.com, a close person to the family says that Gyan has still not reached out to his family but still wants his five-year marriage annulled by the court.

The former Sunderland frontman, after filing for divorce in court by his lawyers raised questions about the paternity of the three children he had with his wife, Gifty and called for a DNA test to ascertain the paternity of the children.

The DNA results, however, proved that Gyan is the biological father of the three children.

The source added that Gyan who is currently in Ghana and doing some philanthropic work, is yet to reach out to his family living in the UK and also take up his responsibilities as a father.

This news comes few days after Gyan lost a big case in court after suing a young lady, Sarah Kwabla, musician Ekow Micah and two journalists for trying to extort money from him.

The hullabaloo behind Gyan's marriage dominated the headlines in December 2018.

It was reported that Gyan wanted to divorce his wife to marry his alleged girlfriend, Nina Atala.

Nina is the ex-wife of Jamaican singer Buju Banton.
