NPP refutes NDC’s claim that it needs the EC to win the 2020 elections

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has refuted claims reportedly made by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that it needs the support of the Electoral Commission (EC) to win the 2020 elections.

Per a Dailyguidenetwork.com report, NPP’s deputy general secretary, Nana Obiri-Boahen, stated that the party could win the 2020 as well as subsequent elections without the help of the EC.

On Thursday, March 28, 2019, the EC issued a release, announcing its decision to compile a new voters register.
