Kweku Baako describes online petition to prosecute Nyantakyi as needless

The Editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has said an online petition initiated by Anas Aremeyaw Anas to get Kwesi Nyantakyi prosecuted,was a useless petition.

According to him, he would have advised Anas against the petition if he had prior knowledge of it.

Commenting on the development on News File show on Saturday, March 30, 2019, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako stated that the online petition by Anas could have been shelved.

“I’ve raised the same matter with him and I’m being very candid if I’d had prior notice there’ll be this online petition I would have advised against it and I’ve told him that…It is a reflection of certain frustration within Tiger Eye that the process is slow paced not much is going on, so they reacted that way.

Sentimentally I understand them but strictly speaking, I think that particularly online could have been shelved. I’ve told in private I’m sure he wouldn’t mind me saying so publicly,” he noted.
