The National Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharabutu has paid a courtesy call on Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi at his Glorious Wave Chapel International church premises.
The visit on Monday, April 1, 2019, saw the two religious leaders have a chat about religious co-existence in Ghana.
After exchanging pleasantries and having a long chat, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu offered prayed for Prophet Badu Kobi when they were done chatting.
In a video of the meeting sighted by YEN.com.gh on KOFI TV, the national chief Imam who wore a white apparel was seen sitting in chair with his entourage surrounding him.
Speaking after the august meeting, Prophet Badu Kobi revealed that he used the opportunity to thank the Chief Imam for coming to the aid of Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International when some Muslim youths wanted to attack him.
It will be recalled that some angry Muslim youth, at the beginning of 2019, attacked Owusu Bempah's church.
As reported by YEN.com.gh, the youth numbering about 50 stormed the Odorkor premises of Owusu-Bempah's church in cars and motorbikes on in a bid to attack him for prophesying the death of the national Chief Imam.
But in a swift reaction, Imam Sharabutu appealed to the angry youth to stop any further attacks on Owusu Bempah who had made a report to the police over the matter.
Owusu Bempah later visited the Chief Imam to donate a cow and also announce his decision not to further pursue any action against his attackers because of the Imam's reaction.
