Actress Yvonne Nelson has warned that if the recent dumsor does not stop, she would lead a demonstration against President Akufo-Addo.
Popular actress Yvonne Nelson seems to be very angry with the recent power outages that has hit the country.
She is also very disappointed in the president and has warned that if the dumsor does not stop, she would be forced to hit the street to demonstrate against the government.
Nelson made this revelation on a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on her Twitter handle.
She wrote: “Dumsor must stop. We are gonna hit the streets soon if it doesn’t stop.”
This seems to be the second or third time Yvonne is giving such a warning.
Moreover, she gave similar warning during the era of former president John Dramani Mahama under the erstwhile NDC administration.
Nelson led the demonstration against the previous administration where many Ghanaians took part.
Based on her track record of carrying out such warnings, it is expected that Yvonne Nelson and her fans would be on the streets soon protesting against the current power outages.
Meanwhile, the NDC has asked the government to be honest with Ghanaians and provide a timetable for the recent dumsor.
But the government has failed to do so and claimed that there is no need for a timetable.
According to government communicators, the recent power cuts are as a result of technicalities.
But a section of the public say the NPP government does not want to admit that Ghana has been hit by dumsor again because that would amount of admission of incompetency.
