- Kwaw Kese is not happy with the organisers of the VGMA
- He has called on the organisers to award Shatta Wale after begging for it
Rapper Kwaw Kese has thrown a subtle jab at dancehall sensation Shatta Wale
According to the Abodam hitmaker, Shatta Wale deserved more awards at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) after begging the organisers, Charter House.
He further intimated that the VGMA has lost its credibility because discrimination and favouritism have taken over the once credible award scheme.
Kwaw Kese, touching on the “Artiste of the Decade” category stated clearly that songstress Becca doesn’t deserve a slot in that category because she hasn’t been consistent and relevant in the past 10 years.
At the upcoming event, the controversial rapper wants Samini, Stonebwoy, Patapaa and Shatta Wale to stand tall on the night.
He made this known in an interview with the Ghanaian media.
YEN.com.gh previously reported about the beef between Kwaw Kese and Shatta Wale.
In November 2018, Kwaw Kese and Shatta Wale threw jabs at each other on social media.
