DCE faces vote of no confidence after return from foreign trips
Information available to YEN.com.gh shows the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Sekyere East, Mary Boatemaa Marfo, is about to face a vote of no confidence.
Mynewsgh.com reports that soon after Marfo’s arrival from the United States of America (USA) and Canada, the assembly members are calling for her removal.
A week ago, sixteen assembly members, in accordance with the Model Standing Orders of the District Assemblies Act, passed a resolution for a vote of no confidence in the DCE.

The assembly members alleged in the petition that, Marfo had abused her office in several ways, including but not limited to school feeding, projects not passing through the proper procedures and the inflation of contract sums.
Presiding Member of the Sekyere East District Assembly, Emmanuel Agyei Naafi, revealed: “all is set for the process and it is expected that, by the end of the meeting, the will of the assembly members shall prevail”.
