In a video that was posted on the Instagram page of Rumors and Gossips GH, Shatta Wale was seen ranting and jabbing artistes and some Ghanaians.

He noted that some artistes did not begin calling for votes towards the VGMAs but just when he has started it, they copied the trend.

"Have you seen what I was doing on social media, no artiste was doing it but after I started, now they are beginning to do same," Shatta Wale jabbed.

"Those artistes don't respect the awards. As for me, I respect everything that comes with music," he added.

The 'My Level' hitmaker revealed how he met CEO of Charterhouse, Theresa Ayoade concerning the VGMAs.

Shatta Wale's comments seem to be shading fellow musician and Artiste of the Year contender Sarkodie.

Sarkodie is the next artiste after Shatta Wale to publicly campaign for votes so as to win big at the VGMAs.

Shatta Wale therefore feels that the Sark Nation boss found his campaign important, thus copied his style.

Prior to this rant, Shatta Wale began campaigning and giving out call credit on social media to enable fans vote for him.

Shatta Wale has been nominated in nine categories in the upcoming VGMA, making him one of the artistes with the highest nominations.
