Rawlings applauds taxi driver for not littering

A man driving a taxi with registration number GW 8963-16, has been praised by former president Jerry John Rawlings for ensuring good environmental hygiene.

The former president in a series of tweets commended the cab driver for not littering. He also charged Ghanaians to ensure total cleanliness at all times.

The action of the driver is a very rare sight especially in the capital where indiscriminate disposal of the wrapper of candies, paper, polythene bags, sachet water rubber has become a routine.
