Ghanaian actress Xandy Kamel has thanked God for being alive after she escaped untimely death.

YEN.com.gh has sighted a video on the actress' Instagram handle in which she narrated how she escaped a robbery attack.

According to Xandy, she ordered Taxify from Marina Mall and just when she got to Airport Shell, a motor bike just parked in front of her.

Xandy revealed that she thought the motor bike was a commercial one (Okada) but that wasn’t the case.

She stressed that from nowhere a young man just stood by her and ordered that she hand over her bag and phones.

Xandy, a former immigration officer said, if not the little training she underwent at the immigration school, the young man would have succeeded.

She said immediately the young man ordered her to hand over her bag and other things, she used her leg to hit his ‘balls’ which made the latter move back and she started screaming, "armed robber, armed robber".

She said there was a policeman around who came with his friend and started opening fire.
