- KSM has been invited to deliver a lecture at the University of Rhode Island in the US

Popular Ghanaian satirist, Kwaku Sintim-Misa who is simply known as KSM is set to deliver a lecture at the University of Rhode Island (URI) in the United States.
The lecture, organised by the URI's Harrington School of Communications and Media, will come off between 5:30pm and 7:00pm on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
According to a flyer announcing the event which has been sighted by YEN.com.gh, KSM will be discussing the use of humour and satire as powerful modes of persuasive discourse on difficult situations.
"Using his distinctive style of lecture interwoven with dramatic performance, KSM -- as he is popularly known in Ghana-- illustrates how humour, comedy, and satire can influence public opinion to spark social change," parts description on the flyer read.
The flyer was shared on social media by popular Ghanaian lawyer, Ace Ankomah.
Born in 1956, KSM has been in the limelight as an actor, director, satirist, talk show host, and author.
He has been one of the most popular comic personalities in Ghana since he returned home in 1997 after staying in the US for some time.
From this feat, it is clear that KSM's stature as a satirist is not only respected in Ghana but the world over.
