The chairman of the Ashanti regional branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, has claimed that the party will win the 2020 elections, even in the face of erratic power supply.
Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, explained that despite the challenges the country currently faces, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would be no match for the NPP.
“Ghanaians have decided already; Ghanaians will vote for the NPP government in 2020 elections", he argued.
Pulse.com.gh reports that chairman Wontumi added President Akufo-Addo’s administration would take Ghanaians to the promised land.
Ghana has been grappling with challenges with power supply in recent times, a phenomenon commonly known as ‘dumsor.’
The minister of energy, John Peter Amewu, has assured Ghanaians that the outages are intermittent challenges Ghana is facing in acquiring gas to power generation plants, and that it will end on April 12, 2019.
