Peace FM broadcaster Kwadwo Dickson has confirmed that he has resigned his position as a presenter and newscaster with the station after about 18 years of service.
Reports have been going around for some time now that Kwadwo Dickson who is also very popular for his Akan commercials had left the flagship station of Despite Group.
Since the reports popped up, many rumours have come up as to why the popular Akan newscaster was leaving the station.

To put the many rumours to bed, Kwadwo Dickson has released a video to explain his decision to quit.
In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the ace broadcaster explained that his contract with the Despite Group had ended and he did not seek a renewal because he wished to have a new direction with his career and life.
He thus pleaded with his fans not to listen to any rumours so as not to read any meaning s into him leaving Peace FM.
Dickson thanked Despite Group owner, Osei Kwame and his brother Ofori Sarpong, Despite Media MD, Fadda Dickson and all the management of Peace FM as well as his colleagues for all the support throughout the 18 years.

Kwadwo Dickson becomes the third high profile broadcaster in Accra to have resigned in the last six months.
Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, the popular Adom FM newscaster, resigned from the station in November 2018 after over 10 years.
Two months after Kofi left, another top Adom FM presenter, Ohemaa Woyeje also resigned.
