Ghanaians have reacted after Kofi Kingston made history by claiming the WWE title.
Kofi, who is a Ghanaian-American professional wrestler proved too strong for Daniel Bryan to win the aforementioned belt.
Over 11 years after making his debut in WWE, Kofi Kingston is now a world champion.
Following his win on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at WrestleMania 35, Kofi not only reached a career milestone but made WWE history as well by becoming the first wrestler of African descent to win the title.
However, Kofi’s triumph has caused mixed reactions among Ghanaians following YEN.com.gh’s report.

The WWE championship, which the company debuted in 1963, has been around the waist of 50 different men in its history.
With the win, Kofi thus became just the second African American (following Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) to hold WWE’s signature title.
