Ghana Consul in Dubai assures Menzgold customers

The Ghana Consul in Dubai, Gifty Bukari has assured Menzgold customers in Ghana that the embattled CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah will pay back their locked up investments soon.

Gifty Bukari revealed that Nana Appiah Mensah is doing all it takes to settle all monies locked up in his gold dealership firm.

In an interview with Accra-based radio station, Kasapa FM, Gifty Bukari commented on the developing story concerning NAM1's release.

Gifty Bukari stated that her briefing from the officer in charge of consulate issues who has keenly followed the NAM1 case suggests the latter is hopeful of settling his indebtedness to the customers.

She narrated how NAM1 had planned to look for money and settle his customers until he was rearrested by Interpol.

"When NAM1 had the bail my briefing is that he planned to look for monies to come down to Ghana and pay the teeming customers but Interpol was also on his neck," she said.

"As soon as he was granted bail Interpol got him arrested. He’s hopeful of being done with the case in Dubai soon, then after he will attend to the several thousands of Menzgold customers because he himself is not a free man. He’s helpless now as he is on remand," she added.

Meanwhile YEN.com.gh has publushed that Nana Appiah Mensah has won the case in Dubai for which he was arrested.

According to the information, the court ruled in favor of NAM1 on Tuesday morning after a court proceeding in Dubai.

In addtion, the court asked the company who earlier got NAM1 arrested to pay back monies owed the embattled CEO.

The story on NAM1's victory has got a lot of Ghanaians talking and Menzgold customers happy because they are likely to get back their locked up investments soon.
