The national chairman of the party, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, and a deputy national communications officer, Kwaku Boahen, are facing four charges with regard to the infamous leaked tape.
During his appearance before the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in March 2019, Ofosu Ampofo was charged with threat of harm, conspiracy to commit harm, rioting and assaulting a public officer, and granted a bail in a sum of GHC400,000 with two sureties.
Per a report by Mynewsgh.com, Kwaku Boahen, on the other hand, was charged with conspiracy to commit a crime, to wit, kidnapping and conspiracy to commit a crime, to wit threat of harm.
