- The politician, Ned Nwoko, is said to already have 5 wives and is very rich
A popular Nigerian comedienne and actress, Etinosa, has waded into the controversy surrounding the alleged marriage between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and a billionaire politician.
According to Etinosa, there was nothing wrong with the young Nollywood actress getting married to the billionaire Ned Nwoko.
She explained in a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on Instagram that it was better for Regina to have married Nwoko than becoming a girlfriend, or what is commonly referred to as a side chic.
To her, the marriage is a honour done the Nollywood actress.
“He married her, he honoured her. This is better than those being taken as side chic who only enjoy indomie. It is better to be married in that way than being a side chic,” Etinosa said in the video.
Her comments come after reports went viral that the 18-year-old actress had agreed to marry the 59-year-old billionaire politician.
In an earlier report by YEN.com.gh, the politician was quoted to have said that he is a devout Muslim and had the right to marry as many women as he desired.
Nwoko was also reported to have said that he did not want to touch on his marriage to Regina yet, but would do so at the right time.
The marriage ceremony was said to have taken place on a low key in Delta State, Nigeria, with only a handful of people attending.
Regina Daniels was also in the news following a mansion she gave to her mother as a gift.
She also flaunted a new Benz which she said she bought for her personal use.
Since news about her marriage broke, many have concluded that the mansion and cars were bought by Nwoko, thought Daniels claimed she bought them with her hard-earned money.
