President Akufo-Addo is set to begin the first phase of a 2019 nationwide tour, YEN.com.gh can confirm.
The minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, disclosed details of the tour, set to start on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
According to him, after commissioning a $1.5 billion Sinohydro Roads Project in the Northern regional capital, Tamale, the president would begin the tour, starting with six new regions.
President Akufo-Addo would visit three of the six new regions, namely Western North, Bono East, and Ahafo Regions, from April 10, 2019 to Monday April 15, 2019.
Per a Dailyguidenetwork.com report, the first region he is expected to visit is the Western North region, where he is scheduled to cut sod for some town road projects, including the Sefwi Wiaso Town road.
He will leave the Western North for Ahafo on Friday and in Ahafo, he will inaugurate some projects until Sunday.
The president, while in Ahafo Region, will inspect the site for the construction of the new Regional Coordinating Council. On Monday, he will be visiting the Bono East Region.
