Anita Erskine causes stir with story of how an unemployed graduate rejected her driving job offer

Award-winning media personality Anita Erskine has caused a stir on social media after sharing a story of her encounter with an unemployed graduate.
According to Erskine, a young man who graduated from the university three years ago and has been unemployed since recently approached her for a job and she offered him a temporary driving job.
But the gentleman rejected the offer saying driving was not related to his area of study.

Surprised by the young man's response, Erskine took to Twitter to share the story on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.
"Just spoke to a young graduate. Unemployed for 3 yrs. Desperate for a job. I understood his frustration. So I said “I really don’t have any openings. Except some temporary driver work for our productions”. He said “thanks. But I’m looking for something related to my area of study,” Erskine wrote with surprise emojis.

However kindhearted her offer might have been, many followers on social media have blasted Erskine especially for the fact that she brought the matter on social media and acted surprised.
