List reveals 957 people work at Presidency; reduced from 998 in 2017

- The list of staff at the presidency has reduced from 998 in 2017 to 957 in 2019

- This was revealed in a latest list presented to Ghana's Parliament by President Akufo-Addo

A list from the Presidency to Parliament reveals that 957 staff are currently working at the Jubilee House.

The list was presented to the House by President Akufo-Addo, in compliance with Section 11 of the Presidential Office Act, 1993 (Act 463).

The President is required to submit a report on the staffing position of the Office of the President annually.

From the list, there are currently 10 Ministers of State at the Presidency.

The breakdown also reveals that there are 28 presidential staffers and 254 other junior political appointees working at the Jubilee House.

This brings the total number of political appointees to 292, while there are also 665 Civil and Public Sector employees at the Presidency.

This comes after 998 persons were listed as workers at the Presidency in 2017.
