Kwame Sefa Kayi jabs Sammy Gyamfi; sacks him from his show

The National Communication Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi did not have it easy when he showed up on Peace FM's morning show ‘Kokrokoo’ program hosted by Kwami Sefa Kayi.

Sefa Kayi who was surprised Sammy Gyamfi was able to come on his show after insulting him on another radio station asked him to leave his studio.

Initially, the NDC National executive who sounded unapologetic when he appeared on the show refused to show any sign of remorse for his actions because, to him, the issue was in the past and Sefa Kayi was attempting to "use his show to settle scores."

It will be recalled that Sammy Gyamfi, after the NDC National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo’s alleged leaked tape went viral, accused the renowned morning show host and other journalists of being 'hypocrites'.

The NDC Communicator wondered why the Chairman General did not play other leaked tapes that captured the voice of New Patriotic Party (NPP) activists, but did gave prominence to the Ofosu-Ampofo leaked tape.

It took the intervention of other panel members, including former NPP Bantama constituency MP, Henry Kwabena Kokofu and Tarkwa Nsuaem NPP MP, George Mireku Duker; for the Chairman General to allow him back into the studio to make his submission at the tail end of today's edition of Kokrokoo.

“These bunch of hypocrite journalists will never play leaked tapes on their shows so far as they have negative repercussions on the NPP. However, they are quick to play leaked tapes that involve the NDC like we are seeing today,” Sammy Gyamfi said at the time.
