Residents in Gbadzeme construct concrete road after failed government promises
Residents of Gbadzeme and Fume Avatime in the Volta Region have used concrete to construct a road that connects the two towns.
The 8-km road, which links the two towns, had been neglected for a long time and successive governments passed, promised to fix it but never did.
The deplorable nature of the road compelled the locals of the two communities to organise a communal labor to fix the roads with cement, quarry chippings and sand.
