Man honours promise to late friends, helps their child graduate

A man took to social media to gush about a young woman who he raised after her parents passed away. According to the man, he promised his late friends he'd take care of their children.

On Thursday, April 11, a man who has been identified as Luthando Zibeko took to social media to share how he stuck to a promise he made to his late friends. discovered that Zibeko shared photos of himself with his late friends' daughter at her graduation.

According to Zibeko, his friends passed away in a car accident and he promised them he would be a dad to their kids.

"In 2004 I lost two of my best friends, Siphiwo Sisusa and Siviwe Soka in an car accident... I made a promise to both, "I will be a father to your children." Proud moment to watch Lingelihle Soka degree in 2018 & Honors in 2019. God bless her... Siviwe must be smiling," he wrote.

The post gave social media users the feels and they applauded Zibeko for fulfilling his promise.

Social media user @TumishoMolo wrote: "An African child never had one family... thank you for being a father and giving love to your friends kids... they are blessed to have you. May God bless you."
Another tweep, @Maleselaglen, added: "Thank you on behalf of all good men who are grinding hard day in and day out to see a black child prosper. We are very proud of you as the executive committee of the men's conference."
