Ghanaians unhappy with Akufo-Addo over his Notre Dame tweet

- Akufo-Addo slammed by Ghanaians for ignoring flood victims but commiserating with the people of France

- The Notre Dame Cathedral in France was gutted by fire on Monday, April 15

Ghanaians are peeved at President Nana Akufo-Addo over his tweet to commiserate with France.

Ghanaians on social media slammed their president because they say he has failed to commiserate with victims of recent flood in Ghana but is quick to show concern to foreign events.

The president of Ghana, Akufo-Addo sent out a few heart-warming tweets to commiserate with the people of France but Ghanaians will not have it.

"The Ghanaian people and I are shocked by the news of the destruction of the great Parisian Cathedral, Notre Dame, one of the most iconic buildings of world civilization and extend our heartfelt condolences to President  and to the French people on their great loss," Nana Addo tweeted.

But Ghanaians on social media took on the president for ignoring the over 12 people who lost their lives in the last two floods that hit Accra and other parts of the country.

Some people described Akufo-Addo as being a hypocrite. Below are more of the comments from Ghanaians;
